How to choose between balayage, highlights, and full colour
The right service depends on three things: how much of the hair you want to change, how often you want to come back in, and whether you are starting from natural or already-coloured hair.
- Balayage if you want soft, hand-painted dimension with the longest grow-out. Refresh every 3-4 months.
- Highlights if you want lift through the lengths with more uniform coverage. Refresh every 6-12 weeks depending on coverage.
- Full head colour if you want full coverage and a single tone, e.g. covering grey or going darker. Refresh every 4-6 weeks.
- T-section / half head if you mostly want lift around the face and parting. Lower commitment and lower cost.
Skin test policy
For any colour or chemical service, we require a skin (patch) test 48 hours before your appointment. This is mandatory for all new clients. It takes two minutes and protects you against allergic reactions. Book the patch test when you book the service, or call us on 0208 994 8008.
Aftercare basics
- Wait 48 hours before the first wash to let the colour set.
- Use sulphate-free, colour-safe shampoo and conditioner.
- Wash with cool water where possible, hot water opens the cuticle and accelerates fade.
- Heat-style with a heat protectant, every time.
- Book a treatment between full colour appointments to keep the cuticle smooth and the tone clean.
