Colour correction is what we do when colour has gone wrong somewhere. Box-dye build-up, banding, brassy tones, uneven balayage, or a previous salon job that did not land. Every correction is different, which is why we quote on consultation, not on a price list.
Common correction cases we see
- Box-dye removal - heavy, layered home colour that has built up over time.
- Brassy or orange tones after a lightening service.
- Banding - lighter or darker stripes through the lengths.
- Uneven balayage from another salon.
- Stripping back to a softer base after years of darker colour.
- Going lighter overall when the previous colour is blocking the result.
How a correction appointment works
- Free consultation. Bring photos of where you want to be. We will assess where you are, the hair condition, and the realistic timeline.
- Treatment plan. Some corrections happen in one appointment, some need 2-3 sessions over 6-8 weeks. We will be honest about which.
- Quote. We quote in writing once the plan is agreed. No surprise charges on the day.
- Olaplex. Olaplex is added to every colour-correction service to protect the hair during the lift.
- Aftercare plan. A correction is only worth the money if you can maintain it. We will write you an at-home plan.
Pricing
Colour correction is quoted on consultation. As a rough guide, a single-session correction starts around £120-£200. A multi-session plan ranges from £300 up. We will be transparent about cost before you commit.

Skin test policy
For any colour or chemical service, we require a skin (patch) test 48 hours before your appointment. This is mandatory for all new clients. It takes two minutes and protects you against allergic reactions. Book the patch test when you book the service, or call us on 0208 994 8008.
