The bridal trial is the rehearsal for your wedding day. It is held at our Chiswick salon, takes around 90 minutes, and gives us the time and lighting we need to refine both hair and makeup.
Trial price
£150 for a full hair and makeup trial in the salon. This includes a styling consultation, run-through of the chosen look, and notes for the wedding day.

What to bring to the trial
- Photos of looks you like (and looks you do not).
- Your veil or any hair accessories you plan to wear, if you have them.
- A photo of your dress neckline or a top in a similar tone, so the makeup balances against the dress.
- An idea of your venue lighting (indoor / outdoor / candlelit).
What we do during the trial
- Discussion - we look at the photos, your dress, and your usual day-to-day look.
- Hair - we do the full intended hair style.
- Makeup - we apply the full intended makeup look.
- Photo check - photos in natural light and warm light, so we know how the look will read in the venue.
- Notes - we write up products, brushes, timings, and any tweaks for the day.
When to book the trial
Book the trial 6-8 weeks before the wedding. Earlier than that and the look may not feel relevant, later and there is no time to refine if anything needs to change.
