A regular salon picks the best stylist for your hair type. A wedding stylist has to deliver one perfect day under pressure, often early in the morning, sometimes on location, with photographs that will be looked at for decades. The criteria are different.
What separates a wedding stylist
- Hair AND makeup. One person who can do both, or a tightly-coordinated pair, beats two separate bookings on a tight bridal morning.
- Trial discipline. A real bridal trial is at the salon, in the same chair, in the same lighting, photographed in natural light, written up with notes and timings.
- Wear-test thinking. The look has to last from the trial chair through the ceremony, the speeches, the dance floor.
- Calm under deadline. Brides notice the temperature in the room. The right stylist runs a calm trial AND a calm wedding morning.
- Realistic about travel. Honest about whether on-location works for your venue and timeline, or whether starting in salon is better.

Silvana is qualified in BOTH hair and makeup - the makeup qualification is from one of the UK's leading professional schools. That removes the coordination risk between two stylists on the morning of the wedding. Trials are held at the salon (£150). Full bridal hair and makeup on the day is £300. We work with brides from Chiswick, Bedford Park, Hammersmith, Ealing, and west London more broadly.

Owner Silvana brings 20+ years of hands-on experience in hair and makeup, including a professional makeup qualification from one of the UK's leading schools. The salon team works at two stylist tiers: Director and Senior Stylist, both fully qualified, with the Director tier reserved for our most experienced stylists. Every appointment starts with a proper conversation about your hair, your routine, and how you actually want to wear it.
